- Add salt, pepper and any other herbs or spices you enjoy to the water for flavor.
- Once it has boiled for a while (usually about an hour), turn off the heat and strain out the bones with tongs–or even better, use a colander if your pot is large enough.
- Then what you do is put the broth in a container and refrigerate it overnight.
The next day you can skim off any solidified fat on top, reheat the bone broth for drinking or cooking with, and enjoy!
