If you read my last post on the Law of Attraction, you probably have a sense on what I’m trying to do on this site. And that is to spread the knowledge and teach others about the spiritual laws of the universe and use them to your advantage to get what you want. I aim to do this by sharing my own journey through this site and showing you how it’s possible.

What does attitude have to do with it though and does attitude affect behavior? Read on because the answer might surprise you!

I’ve become a huge fan of the teachings of Earl Nightingale and Bob Proctor over the past several months. I’m not so much a fan of the PGI (Proctor Gallagher Institute) consultants who act like vultures if they even get the faintest scent that you are a Bob Proctor supporter, because I don’t believe in overpriced coaching programs or trying to make people feel like they can’t succeed without an overpriced coach. But I try to have a good attitude when they approach me, even though I don’t get that in return.

Earl Nightingale says the magic word is ATTITUDE. And trust me, I know it’s difficult in times to even HAVE a good attitude.

The Meriam Webster Dictionary defines attitude as “a feeling or emotion toward a fact or state.” We can have a positive or a negative attitude towards another person, situation or circumstance. Remember, with the Law of Attraction you attract what you put out there.

What Kind Of Attitude Do you Have Towards Yourself?

I’d like to do a little exercise! Take out a blank sheet of paper. Write down all the adjectives that your friends would use to describe you. Then write down all the adjectives that you would use to describe yourself.

Compare the two lists. Do they differ. What kind of attitude do you have about yourself?

Here is an exmaple of mine. My best friend Dan would tell you I am intelligent, capable of running my own health and fitness business, and a great person to be around. When I look at myself, I have so many self esteem issues and I lack confidence and the belief that I can be successful business wise.

It’s important to know those things about ourselves! If I am constantly doubting myself, how do you think that affects my behavior? I can tell you that I am less productive and efficient. In those times, I like to remind myself of things I have accomplished in life! I got to live in Germany and even worked in Antarctica. I’m pretty awesome. And when I think of myself like this, I get inspiration to write blog posts and continue work on my weibsite to grow my business!

Often times, our friends, family, and people who know us well can see things about us that we can’t. Do you believe in yourself as much as one of them?

Why are we so quick to assume that someone else can do something better?

I don’t know you, dear reader, but the fact you are reading this means you are capable of achieving whatever it is you want out of life! I have faith in YOU!

How Does Your Attitude Towards Others Affect Your Behavior?

Just as it’s important to treat yourself with a great attitude, it’s also important to treat others the same way! I love the way Earl Nightingale puts it. He says we do this for three excellent reasons:

  1. Because that’s how you should treat someone. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.
  2. Because to that person, they ARE the most important person in the world.
  3. When we begin to treat everyone with a good attitude, we are forming an important habit!

Attitude of Success Equals Success

If we look back at the definition of attitude as a feeling or emotion, and we know that the law of attraction will return to us what we put out, then it stands to reason that by having a positive attitude will increase our vibration levels. The higher we are vibrating, the more we attract towards our dreams!

Plus, I don’t know about you, but when I show kindness to someone or help someone out, it makes me feel so good. Positive energy right there!

4 Daily Tasks To Start Doing TODAY

  1. Write out what you WANT your life to look like and who you want to.
  2. Start acting like that person NOW. have the mental attitude that you are this person already.
  3. Treat everyone how you want to be treated. Even if you know you won’t get the same respect in return. You don’t have to like them or associate with them at all if you find them to be toxic to your lifestyle. You only need positive relationships!
  4. Find positivity in any situation. Also hard to do, but it will allow you new and different perspectives in life you might have otherwise missed!

From personal experience, the hardest one for me to do is acting like the person I want to be in my vision. Everyday though, I see my vision and my dream, and I do my best to act like the successful person I see myself as. I do what I can from where I am with what I have.
